Vinyl-Lite Window Factory, your source for custom windows for over 25 years.

Shopping for windows is a lot like shopping for a car. It can be tedious, nerve-wracking work that just ends up with a high-pressure sale and a low quality product. That's why a lot of people put it off just as long as possible.

Thankfully, there is one place they can go that's different-Vinyl-Lite Window Factory in Lorton. No one there will high-pressure you into anything. They don't have to. The product speaks for itself. Mike, one of the owners of Vinyl-Lite, figures that 25 to 40 percent of the people in the market for windows have already sought an estimate, but were put off by the pushy salespeople and way-out-of-line prices.

"It's not that way at Vinyl-Lite," he says. "Since we are a MANUFACTURER of vinyl windows and doors, we cater to the customer." "In fact," he adds, "the customer is the boss."

He says, "Although there are a lot of window companies out there, most of them are so high-pressure that they are actually asked to leave the customers' homes. Some have even had the police called on them, because they were too insistent to "make the sale."

"That just doesn't happen at Vinyl-Lite. In the 25 years we have been doing business, we have never once been asked to leave someone's home." The bottom line is Vinyl-Lite respects the customers.
And a lot of customers there are! Vinyl-Lite has done apartment complexes with 4,500 windows, an air traffic control tower at Fort Belvoir and multiple churches, along with their sanctuaries and schools.
Vinyl-Lite's prices are reasonable, too. Generally they are 30 percent less than what you would pay at a famous national retailer that also does windows. And for your money you get the same or better quality product, with none of the hassle.

Financing can also be arranged, as hundreds of people already know. Again, it's another way to provide for the customer.

Some people think a window is a window is a window. But it's not. It is the material that window is made of and the way that it is put together that make the difference in longevity and maintenance. Vinyl-Lite uses a special General Electric composite material known as Cycolac. It's the same material used to make the hoods of 18-wheeler trucks and NFL football helmets. Windows made of Cycolac are twice as strong as regular windows, and have tough durable frames that withstand the harsh weather and resist fading, chalking and distortion.

Mike likens it to buying a lawn chair. Bring one home from the discount store and it's fine . . . for a little while. But then the sun beats down on it, deteriorating the composition and, before you know it, the chair breaks, cracks or loses a leg! That won't happen with Vinyl-Lite windows because of the special chemical composition of the GE composition vinyl.

And Vinyl-Lite windows come with a product warranty second to none in the industry. They even offer a $1,000 reward if you can show them a factory warranty that is better than what Vinyl-Lite offers. They've offered this reward for over 10 years now and have never had to pay anyone the money yet. That's because there IS no better warranty around.

You won't find that kind of commitment from other companies, especially those fly-by-nighters that twist your arm, promise you the world, but fail to deliver, or, worse yet, disappear completely.
Vinyl-Lite has been around for over 25 years right here in our own community. And instead of disappearing, it's growing and expanding by leaps and bounds. It's building a new factory four times it's current size and is already in the process of building lots of new automated equipment. When you do business with Vinyl-Lite, you know it's there today AND tomorrow.

Vinyl-Lite also only employs full-time installers. It doesn't subcontract out the work to other people.

Why? Mike says the reason is simple: "There's no way we get as good a job from a contractor as from a full-time employee, especially one as well trained as our own." Not only are installers trained to put the windows in your property the right way, but they know everything about the product. They actually work in the factory themselves!

Vinyl-Lite sells the best in casement, double hung, bay, bow, picture and all other kinds of windows, as well as those special garden windows, skylights, patio, French, entrance and storm doors, and shutters for residential and commercial buildings. They also will repair your windows if you bring them in.

Stop by the showroom for a firsthand look or call for an estimate. And remember: The other guys may sell what is cheapest. Vinyl-Lite sells what is best.
