Many parents have asked us how they can help improve their
children's study skills. In response, the Huntington Learning
Center has developed a series of workshops that encourage parent
participation in the learning process of their children.
These workshops are conducted as a community service in conjunction
with local PTA / PTO groups or individual schools. There is no
charge for any of our presentations.
Our current workshop is entitled... Homework: A Parent's
Survival Guide
During the workshop, we show parents ways to structure their
children's time and environment to improve homework performance.
The duration of the workshop can be varied according to your
schedule and needs, but the preferred length is two hours.
In addition, Huntington will provide complimentary advertising
material to promote the workshop at your school. Our informational
flyers can be sent home with students to give to their parents,
and our press release for your local newspaper or school newsletter
announces the upcoming event.
We would be pleased to make either a small or large group
presentation at a time and place convenient for you. Openings
are currently available. To schedule a workshop, just give us
a call.
