American Century Theatre | Arlington, VA
The American Century Theater was founded in 1994 in Arlington, Virginia. It performs in Theatre Two, a "black box" theater in the Gunston Arts Center, at 2700 South Lang Street, Arlington, Virginia. Phone: 703-553-8782. The American Century Theater is dedicated to presenting great, important, and neglected plays of the Twentieth Century. Our mission is based on the firm conviction that this theatrical repertoire -- influential and critically acclaimed dramas, comedies, and teleplays first produced between 1920 and 1970 -- portrays a uniquely American vision that is vital to our shared cultural heritage.

Arena Stage | Washington, D.C.
Arena Stage produces plays that reveal all that is passionate, exuberant, deep and dangerous in the American spirit-the vast epic, the charged drama, the bittersweet comedy and the robust musical alike. While Arena always produce American classics, they also premier new American plays and supports works in progress. As the largest of the Washington, D.C. area's not-for-profit producing theaters, Arena Stage attracts an annual audience of over 250,000 patrons and 25,000 students.

Catalyst Theater Company, The | Washington, D.C.
The Catalyst Theater Company's mission is to produce plays that reflect a moment of remarkable change in the world view of the culture from which they were written.  At a time when we, as artists, are being challenged to respond to a "new world", we think it is essential to investigate "catalytic" plays that have come before us, whether widely known or not, and to explore new works that possess a "catalytic spirit".  By pursuing this mission, we hope to provide a new and dynamic voice for Washington-area theater artists and audiences.

Le Neon Theatre | Arlington, VA
LE NEON Theatre was founded in 1987 by French-born actor, stage director, and doctor in theatrical studies Didier Rousselet, who worked with Ariane Mnouchkine and other renowned French directors. Monica Neagoy joined LE NEON in 1988 and became co-director in 1992 when LE NEON became a professional theatre company and settled into its own space, a minuscule store-front black-box theatre in North Arlington. In 1997, under the auspices of the Arlington County Cultural Affairs Division, LE NEON opened its 11th season in a spacious, 379-seat, elegant theatre in the heart of Rosslyn called The Rosslyn Spectrum.

McLean Community Players | McLean, Virginia
MCP, formed out of the Great Falls Players, C.A.S.T. in McLean, and the McLean Theatre Alliance, has been entertaining the community since about 1964. MCP welcomes new members, especially those who enjoy working behind the scenes. We are also always looking for suggestions for good shows. Meat & Potato Theatre Company |

Meat & Potato Theatre is a small, professional theatre company dedicated to creating the most powerful theatrical adventures possible by utilizing forgotten, ignored, or distorted theatre styles, including puppetry, masks, farce, one-person plays, audience participation, liturgical dramas, and crystal-clear storytelling. Meat & Potato Theatre was founded in 2005 with the intention of strengthening the theater arts, supporting emerging artists, producing plays in intimate spaces, and promoting the benefits of dramatic entertainment to the general public. Meat & Potato Theatre strives to keep the arts affordable for the general public by maintaining ticket prices at or below $20. Mt. Vernon Community Children's Theatre |

For over 20 years on, Mt. Vernon Community Children's Theatre has realized more than 40 professional-quality productions, instituted a highly regarded curriculum of young-actor training, created a fun and exciting multi-location summer camp, and championed an extensive Arts Outreach program bringing arts education into the community to supplement the fine arts programming in area schools, and reaching underprivileged families and children at-risk.

Natural Theatricals | Alexandria, VA
Natural Theatricals is a professional theater company dedicated to imaginative staging of classical, contemporary, and original works for audiences in the greater Washington, DC region. We are artists in residence at the landmark George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, Virginia. Our performances are presented in the indoor amphitheatre in the Masonic National Memorial, one of the most beautiful and accessible performance spaces in greater Washington, DC. This venue provides ample free parking and is across the street and up the hill from the King Street Metro station (Blue and Yellow lines). The stately, classical ambience of this performance hall and the traditional architecture of the Memorial lend themselves to performances with classical themes. At the present time Natural Theatricals is dedicated to presenting plays with classical themes derived from the ancient Greek theatrical tradition. These may include English translations of ancient works, adaptations by modern masters, or new works built upon or inspired by classical themes. We broaden this tradition in 2007 to present our first musical, Will You Know It's Me?

Port City Playhouse | Alexandria, VA
Port City Playhouse (PCP) was organized in 1977 with the intention of being an innovative theater group. PCP'S seasons are geared to the type of productions that challenge and stimulate audiences.  PCP presents plays that illustrate the cultural diversity of our society and attempt to convey a strong message to the play-going public. Furthermore, PCP selects plays that, because of their subject matter, may bring people to the theater who may never have attended a live performance before. PCP's goal is to present a season of challenging plays which meets the needs of a diverse audience. PCP selects plays that are either premieres, or have not been produced in the area in five years.

The Rosslyn Spectrum offers auditorium and theatre-style seating for 387 people. A vibrant performing arts venue of the Arlington County Cultural Affairs Division offers live theatre and music in the evenings and on most weekends. The Rosslyn Spectrum is located beside the old Newseum building, just two blocks from the Rosslyn Metro Station (orange and blue lines) in the heart of one of the Washington, DC region's fastest growing professional and commercial centers.

Round House Theatre | Bethesda, MD
Each season, Round House presents an eclectic body of work on its MainStage, with plays ranging from world premieres through the finest writing of this century to contemporary adaptations of the classics. Each season also includes special performances and limited engagements that explore different forms of theatre and the performing arts, including The New Voices Play Reading Series and a Cabaret Series. Shakespeare Theatre, The | Washington, D.C.
The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, DC has dedicated itself to becoming the nation's premier classic theatre. Each season, The Shakespeare Theatre presents five plays by Shakespeare and other classical playwrights in its 451-seat performance space in the heart of Washington, DC's Pennsylvania Quarter arts district. Theater J | Washington, DC
Theater J has emerged as one of the most distinctive, progressive, and respected Jewish theaters in North America by virtue of its ambitious range of programming and the bold, imaginative artistry of its playwrights, directors, designers and actors. A program of the Washington DC Jewish Community Center, Theater J performs in the elegant 236-seat Aaron and Cecile Goldman Theater in the vibrant Dupont Circle neighborhood.
