The Fairfax County Public Schools Office of Adult and Community Education serves more than 61,000 individuals in 229 facilities annually. Classes, Etc. lists available adult and community education courses. The course booklet is issued three times annually to cover three terms, September-December, January-April, and May-August.

Fairfax County Public Schools-Summer Programs
The summer school booklet is available on the website. The booklet contains information on summer school course offerings including elementary, middle and high school programs along with locations, fees, and registration. Also included in the booklet is information on minicourses, tech-adventure camp, and elementary extended day camps. The booklet is also available at every Fairfax County public school, public library, and other FCPS administrative offices.

Fairfax County School Board
The Fairfax County 12-member School Board is elected to four-year terms that are concurrent with the terms of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, one School Board member from each of nine magisterial (election) districts plus three from the county at large. Fairfax Education Foundation
The Fairfax Foundation Education is a public/private partnership between the business and private sector community and the public schools of Fairfax County. It is the principal vehicle recognized and supported by the school system for private sector funding of school projects. Created in May of 1983 as a way to combat students' declining achievement in local schools and lack of preparedness to enter the burgeoning technology workforce, the Foundation has one goal-to ensure that the students of Fairfax County are the most technologically-literate in the country.

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call our Leaders for breastfeeding help. We also provide health care professionals with continuing education opportunities and access to the latest research on lactation management. National Association of Independent Schools, The
The National Association of Independent Schools, governed by a board of trustees and staffed by approximately 40 individuals, is a membership organization and the national voice of independent education. It represents nearly 1,200 U.S. independent schools, including day, boarding, and day/boarding schools; elementary and secondary schools; boys', girls', and coeducational schools. NAIS offers a variety of products and services to member schools and associations.

Northern Virginia Community College
Northern Virginia Community College is an open access, comprehensive community college offering two-year associate degrees, one-year certificates, and career studies certificates as well as continuing education and community services programs. NVCC, as one of the 23 colleges comprising the Virginia Community College System, is governed by the Virginia State Board for Community Colleges.
