A 2004 graduate of George Mason University, I majored in communications with a concentration in public relations and an emphasis on public speaking. A member of the award winning GMU Forensics team, I was honored to be selected as the 2004 student commencement speaker.

The daughter of the newspaper's owners, I started working at the Buyer's Guide when I was only a few weeks old, distracting employees in the on-site nursery. Growing up in a busy newspaper office, I have learned how to develop successful advertising campaigns for my merchants, and have the advantage of my parents' collective experience when I need advice.

A board member of the GMU Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, I am now actively involved in the Youth Ministry at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church in Burke. In my spare time, I enjoy scrapbooking, working out and listening to my iPod. I am never too far from my laptop and have found that e-mailing my clients or prospective clients at all times of the day or night is a great way to catch busy Northern Virginia business owners.
